Daichan became a twinkle star at May 12th 2001.

大吉が本日、2001年5月12日土曜日　午前9時49分永眠いたしました。 腹部と尾部に大きな腫瘍を抱えなが頑張っていましたが とうとう運命の日を迎えてしまいました. 最後は私の手のひら上で3回目の痙攣がおこりそのまま 眠るように力尽きました。最後をみとれたことがせめてもの救いです. 大吉は星となり私達の心の中で輝きつづける事となりました。 　 女房はあいにくの勤務中であり危篤の一報を電話すると 大吉は電話の励ましの声に頑張ろうとしたようでした。 2回の大きな痙攣にも頑張って息を吹き返しましたが 3回目にはもうこれ以上は可愛そうだと判断し 心臓マッサージの手を止めました. 　 短い一生ではありましたが私達に数多くの思い出を残し また全世界の皆様にこれほど愛されたインコは数少ないと思います. 　 心の整理がしばらくはつかないと思いますが この訃報を皆様にお知らせいたします. 　 尾崎幸雄

With our greatest regret, I would like to inform you that Daikichi passed away on May 12, 2001 at 9:49 a.m. due to big neoplasm located on her abdomen and tail. On her last day, Daikichi suffered from spasms. With my heart massages, she revitalized for a couple of times. However, after talking to my wife and judging her painful struggles, we decided to leave her go for eternal sleep when she had a third spasm. Daikichi became a star in the sky and will continue to shine in our heart. Although it was a short lifetime for us, Daikichi lived a full life with good memories. Daikichi would be one of the luckiest parrots who received lovely warm messages and supports from many of you from all over the world. With deepest sympathy, I announce you Daikichi’s obituary.
