National Institute for Environmental Studies (NIES; http://www.nies.go.jp/index.html) reported an investigation result in Japan about the influence on the ecology by the organic tin compounds that are the endocrine disrupter.

This report showed that the genital troubles of the spiraled shellfish (Inposex) found from 87 regions in 93 regions to Kagoshima Prefecture from Hokkaido in Japan.

The organic tin compounds have regulated to use from1990. Nevertheless, the genital troubles of the spiraled shellfish are growing very much.

The researches say that these compounds will dissolve from the paints of the bottom of the ships coming from the country that don't regulate them.
