Environmental water quality standard for Dioxin

Environment Agency announced the idea that environmental water quality standard for Dioxin would be 1 picogram/l in river, lake, sea and grand water in September 30, 1999. 

And, Environment Agency assessed that dioxin intake in public people would be inside of 4 picogram TEQ/ kg/ day for dioxin TDI, if dioxin levels in environmental water quality would be inside of this standard. 

At the same time, Environment Agency announced the idea that waste water quality standard for Dioxin in industrial plant would be 10 picogram/l. 

Neither standard will be officially determined in December 1999.
