Yamato-Fukin
Since ancient times , Nara is renowned for its textile industry. The fabric made by its textile industry was also called "Kaya-Ori" and was originally used specifically as a mosquito net.
Unfortunately , due to the changes in our way of living , the demand for it has diminished progressively.

Yamato-Fukin In order to continue the use of the magnificent "Kaya-Ori" fabric , we decided to use it for the production of "Yamato Fukin" which is a dishcloth.
The Yamato-Fukin has a high water absorption level and is , as such , very handy for the cleaning and drying of , for example , your preferred dinner set.
The Yamato-fukin is made out of 8 "Kaya-Ori" tissues.
Every step of the weaving is done manually with great care.
This explains why the dishcloth will not tear easily an therefore will last you a very long time.
Wash the dishcloth once before using it for the first time.
